Department OverviewThe Nurse Navigator will work collaboratively with the Radiology, Pulmonary, Thoracic Surgery, and Knight Cancer Institute faculty experts and their interdisciplinary teams. The nurse navigator coordinates the care for the patient prior to the patient's first lung nodule consult visit at OHSU. This position will work with the clinical nurse manager and other ambulatory oncology nurse navigators to develop standard metrics, identify patient barriers, coordinate smooth transitions of care, and to be available for team members in gathering data for new patients that will allow the team to create a plan of care for the patient through the work up phase of the Incidental Lung Nodule Clinic.
