Position Description:NYU's Washington, DC Academic Center is seeking a local, part-time lecturer to teach an undergraduate politics course for upper-level undergraduate students. The course will be under the sponsorship of NYU's College of Arts and Science.The course is expected for Spring 2025 (late January to early May). The class meets once a week for three hours. In addition to the time required for syllabus and course preparation, classroom instruction, and assessment, the instructor is required to hold a minimum of one set 60-minute office hour per instruction day, during which the instructor will be available to meet with students. The instructor will work with the Politics department in New York to finalize the course description and the syllabus.
