Position Summary S&P Global is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Head of Global Travel Services. The Head of Global Travel Services will report to the VP, Head of Global Sourcing & Procurement and lead an internal team of 4 to 5 FTE.
Successful candidate must be able to work USA Eastern Time Zone hours regardless of location.
The position will lead cross functional teams to increase value, customer service and overall experience of the Travel Services Program at S&P Global. This individual will also be responsible for Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Development activities across the Travel Services Program. Duties will include strategy development, financial analysis, reporting, negotiation, category team leadership and supplier development. This is a truly global role with stakeholders in APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NORAM.
Strategic / Leadership Responsibilities:
Lead overall strategy development for the S&P Global Travel Services Program.
Lead S&P Global's Travel and Meeting Management processes, providing quality service at the lowest possible cost.
Lead the Travel category team. Work globally and cross-functionally to gain consensus.
Lead the company's relationship and contract with the 3rd party Travel Agency.
Ensure continuous improvement in total cost of ownership in accordance with business objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the latest Travel Services trends including new tools and technologies.
Conduct competitive and fair bid and negotiate master supply agreements as required.
Ensure that the business objectives of S&P Global and Operating Units are met.
Be the leader in the areas of Travel related carbon emissions and ESG.
Process / Analytical Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis to identify priorities and justify investments.
Run data analysis and recommend changes to the supplier panel that will improve cost and service levels.
Conduct regular analyses related to Travel Program compliance and develop resulting actions.
Lead optimization projects such as process improvements and supplier rationalization.
Execute quarterly business reviews with preferred suppliers. Develop and monitor action plans as required.
Generate timely and accurate reporting on progress towards objectives.
Understand and follow corporate policy including ethical standards.
Perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or related field
Minimum 7+ years' experience in Travel Services, preferably leading a large Corporate Program
Ability to develop cost and service analysis and recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to lead supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, contracting and implementation
Experience in supplier relationship management, KPI and performance management
Demonstrated ability to lead complex global or regional teams
Demonstrated project or program management experience
Experience in strategy development and execution
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
History of managing multiple objectives and finding creative solutions to complex problems
Demonstrated ability to gain consensus through collaboration
A Plus if You Have:
Master's in business administration a plus
Experience leading a F100 Corporate Travel Program a strong plus
International experience a strong plus

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,100 to $255,350. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
