Position Details:
The Opportunity:
As the Assistant to the Associate Dean/Director of the Office of Research (COR) within the College of Agriculture, Human and Natural Resource Science (CAHNRS), you will provide confidential administrative support. This includes maintaining a high level of University and College policies and procedures knowledge and application, overseeing the day to day constituency services for the Associate Dean/Director in management of the COR and serving as an information resource for faculty and staff. Additionally, you will coordinate special projects and events.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement.
Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 - $6,763.06 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant field AND five (5) years of managing administrative support experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Demonstrated experience working in an environment where customer service is valued and emphasized.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Agricultural Experiment Station operations and procedures including, Multi-state research operations (NIMSS), multiple budget sources, and the NIFA Reporting System (NRS) or Plan of Work reporting system;
Knowledge of basic office duties and progressive responsibility toward supervisory positions;
Ability to organize projects and deal with personnel in an effective manner.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain harmonious working relations.
Experience with Workday, WordPress, and Washington State University (WSU) data sources.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines.
