Position Details:
The Opportunity:
Provide professional pharmaceutical care, service and planning in direct support of the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Prepare and dispenses medications; provide drug information/education to hospital staff, veterinary clinicians and patients; and maintain inventory and records of automated dispensing machines. Compound, manufacture, label and dispense drugs and pharmaceutical preparations. Maintain accurate records of controlled substances dispenses and ensure proper storage. Direct the work of pharmacy assistants, interns, veterinary students, and residents. Evaluate orders and verify correctness of entries in patient files.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime exempt.
Annual Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a valid Washington State license to practice pharmacy, or eligibility to obtain license prior to employment.
Ability to work evening and weekend shifts as required.
Experience working in a professional pharmacy teaching environment.
Experience working in veterinary pharmacy environment.
